Great Wall Motor (GWM) is China’s largest SUV manufacturer with more than 80,000 employees around the world. In addition GWM is one of the most successful Chinese car makers. GWM pursues the strategic goal to develop leading vehicle technology with intensive investment in research and development.

GWM Austria has recently established an R & D Center in Kottingbrunn, South of Vienna. The strategic focus of GWM Austria is development of electric drive systems for Hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicles. GWM Austria builds up competence in system design and development of power electronics, software and electric machines.

In addition to the development for specific vehicle applications, GWM Austria will promote the advanced development in order to design future generations of electric drive systems.
